The 2012 Fort Lauderdale Strikers completed the season with a second consecutive trip to the playoffs and featured great performances from first year players like Mark Anderson and Aly Alberto Hassan.

The veteran presences of Andy Herron and Abe Thompson helped lead the Strikers to another successful season. Along with Anderson, the Strikers #10 Walter Restrepo were both named to the NASL Best XI team and it's easy to see why.

Along with the goal scorers was the constant presence of the Strikers defense with stalwart Matt Glaeser anchoring from the goalkeeper position.
